Bath--$15.00 (a basic wash and towel dry) FAQ WHY CHOOSE 4-LEGGED FRIENDS DAYCARE? We are a family run business. You and your dog will receive professional service with heartfelt care. We are confident that you will not find a more comforting, caring place to leave your loved one while you are away. WHO USES DOG DAYCARE AND WHY?
People who work long hours, and their dogs might be crated (or destroying all their belongings) all day otherwise. People who do not have the time and energy to properly exercise their dogs every day. Dogs that have separation anxiety when left home alone and become destructive or stressed. High energy dogs who need more action than their human can provide. And people who know how important it is to keep their dog socially interactive. WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF DAYCARE FOR MY DOG? We have seen daycare do wonders for dogs. They not only become more physically fit and mentally content, but it can be a great confidence builder. We have had many shy dogs bust out of their shell and have a great time making lots of friends. WHAT IS THEIR PLAY AREA LIKE? Our spoiled pooches only get the best! We offer 2 seperate play areas. The smaller players enjoy an indoor/outdoor area of 2,600 sq. ft. while our larger players have over 8,000 sq. ft. to run in each with padding under their feet. This will really save their joints in the long run and we don't flinch when they are wrestling and rolling around with their friends. There are toddler beds, dog houses, a play house and lots of play equipment to play on. They always have access to the outdoor area as well. Those spaces are covered with pea stone and artificial turf. This provides a natural potty area with proper drainage for them to use as opposed to a concrete surface. On warm sunny days we set up anywhere from 2 to 6 puppy pools for them to play in. That's in addition to all the cool play equipment they have outdoors. With over 10,000 sq. ft. of actual play space to play in, your dog will never feel crowded. The acceptable standard is, and we do provide, 100 sq. ft. per large dog and 50 sq. ft. per small dog. They're dogs, not sardines! No cramped quarters here! HOW LONG DOES MY DOG GET TO PLAY? From the time your dog is dropped off in the morning until the time you pick-up of course! Our daycare dogs are not confined for any amount of time during the day for a "nap" or "lunch". When they are tired - they lay down. Our padded floors are a comfortable surface to lay on and our toddler beds are used throughout the day. We are happy to feed your dog during the day if under the age of 6 months or there is a special medical need. WHO WILL BE WITH MY DOG ALL DAY? Our staff are not only dog lovers but are trained in dog behavior and handling. There are always 4 staff members supervising our play groups. DO YOU SEPERATE THE DOGS BY SIZE? Yes. Though it is important for dogs to know how to properly interact with pooches of all sizes we will keep any dog under 10 pounds in the small dog area. We seperate our groups by size and temperament. We closely monitor all behavior to make sure everyone is safe. We have never had a problem with our big and small dogs playing together and in fact, they often become best friends! 12615 Stark Road-Livonia, MI 48150 734/522-PAWS (7297) (phone) 734/522/4750 (fax)
